Our Big Girl

I can't believe Karlee is 19 months old! It's so crazy how fast they grow up and how quick they learn new things. Karlee loves to talk. She is constantly jabbering away. If you call me and don't get to talk to me it's because Karlee insists on holding the phone and talking to whoever it is. She will hardly let you get a word in.

Right now Karlee is very into dollies. She loves to hold them, feed them and change their bums. She is always asking for wipes to wipe the dolls bottom or nose. She is so particular about things. When she watches a movie she sets her dolly right there beside her so she can see too, and if you move it she will let you know she is not ok with that. It has to stay right where she puts it.
One thing Karlee is sure going to miss when we move is eating breakfast with Grandpa Belcher. Every morning she loves to sit on his lap and eat his cereal with him. He is so nice to let her help him eat breakfast.

She thinks she is such a big girl and is very independent, she never wants help doing anything, which makes for one messy girl after she eats. But messy or not we love her just the same.
The other night grandpa was cutting up some tomatoes for dinner and Karlee insisted on "helping" so he put her on a chair so she could see and she started digging into the tomatoes. She probably ate a whole tomato. Silly girl will never try anything but when she decides she likes something she never stops eating it, until the next time we try to give her some then she doesn't want anything to do with it.

On Mother's day Matt made a yummy breakfast. Here's Karlee feeding daddy breakfast. Grandpa was already gone to meetings so she settled for daddy. She decided that his sausage looked pretty good so she grabbed it and ate the whole thing. She is very unpredictable with her eating habits.

Wow Karlee is all dressed up and ready to go. What a cutie-pie. I hope Matthew watches out for the fork, he might come up missing an eye. I think Karlee is getting the best of this breakfast, eggs for dad, sausage for me. Who would have thought that tomoatoes would have been her favorite dish of the day.
