Karlee's Birthday/Fall Break

(Long Post)
This morning we were reflecting on the day Karlee was born. It's crazy to think how much someone so little can change your life forever and how you fall in love with this tiny baby the moment you lay eyes on her. You find so much joy in watching her learn new things. Who knew something as little as smiling or saying a new word or talking in sentences could make you so excited.  It's rewarding seeing them stop and fold their arms when someone is saying a prayer without being told to do so. Or walking out in the hall during church and she points at the art work that is hanging and says Jesus. We are so glad that our lives changed forever 2 years ago. We love Karlee so much!

Matt's fall break has been the past couple of days and it's been so nice to have him around! Karlee's birthday kinda turned into a week long celebration. On Saturday we went to Busch Gardens.

She felt so big driving the bumper cars like the other kids. I was worried she wasn't going to stay in the car.
She was barely too short to reach the peddle. We kept telling her to push the button and she would reach down and press it with her hand.

She would have road the swings all day if we would have let her.
She wasn't too sure about Elmo. She loves Elmo...just not a life size Elmo.
The Roberts joined us in the afternoon. Karlee loves holding Cora's hand.

Karlee didn't enjoy this one so much. It took you up about 25ft then dropped and went up again and dropped. She was ok the first time it dropped but after that she was scared.
Playing in the dragon eggs.

Sunday we just hung out and relaxed.

Monday we took Karlee to a pumpkin patch.

She loved seeing all the pumpkins.
Found the one she wanted.

On the hay ride.

She loved running through the corn maze.

All ready to go with pumpkin in bag.

Monday night we had a little party for Karlee.
Helping mommy make cupcakes.
A few of the animal cupcakes.
Singing Happy Birthday!

Yum!

Karlee wearing her princess jewelry and carrying her princess.

Today we finished off the celebrations.
Opening her gift from Gma and Gpa Bradshaw. She was so excited.
Loving the Elmo card.
Thank you everyone that helped us celebrate and for the gifts.
